Visiting the site
Requests transmit technical connection information to the hosting provider. Any access logs and their retention depend on the host used. This website contains no analytics trackers, advertising pixels, externally loaded fonts, contact forms or booking forms. Photographs, CSS and JavaScript are served locally.
Language choice
A manual language choice stores the cookie fw_language with de or en for up to one year, without an individual identifier. You can remove it in browser settings. The optional Cloudflare deployment uses the host-provided IP country information for the first selection; our application does not store that country information. Unknown countries fall back to English. The static version does not identify IP countries and uses English without a saved choice.
Search and source links
Article search runs in your browser. Search terms appear in the URL and may reach the host when a page is requested again; they are not sent to a search service. External sources apply their own privacy rules when you open them.
Email contact
If you email us, your address and message are processed to address your enquiry. Send only information needed for that purpose. You can use the contact address to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable retention obligations.
